  • Better leaders at every level of the Organisation.
  • Efficient Structure, Effective Team.
  • Continuous Improvement.

Experience

I still see the Investors in People logo proudly displayed on correspondence, websites and other marketing material and on shop/office fronts.

We obtained IIP certification in British Telecom (BT) after obtaining our ISO Certification. IIP is a Quality Management System (QMS) in itself, focused purely on managing and developing people. I was impressed with the scheme because it really put emphasis on continuous personal development at all stages in an employees career. And if the skills of the individuals grow them the skills of the team grow and of course the staff are more fulfilled and happier in their work and the company results improve.

I remember being very impressed with what IIP delivered. In the people area it went further than ISO 9001. To keep IIP accredited companies are subject to regular external audits, so to this day I know that a company with IIP is a company that values its staff and is more than likely a better company to work for than one without the IIP standard.
